The Duo security token is used by members of the Virginia Tech community as a second-factor authentication device to gain access to services protected by Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) in instances when a phone is not a viable second-factor option. Users press a button on the device to generate a 6-digit code that is entered into the passcode field when logging into a service that requires 2FA.

EquatIO is a math creation and manipulation application that allows you to create, edit, insert, and read aloud digital math in Microsoft Word, Chrome, and the Canvas learning management system. With EquatIO you can create and edit math visually, write and convert LaTeX equations, use speech input to convert spoken math to digital, read screenshots of math aloud, and more. EquatIO allows instructors to convert math from MS Word equations to LaTeX code and vice versa all while making math more accessible to students.

ArcGIS for Desktop software enables you to discover patterns, relationships, and trends in your data that are not readily apparent in databases, spreadsheets, or statistical packages. Beyond displaying your data as points on a map, ArcGIS Desktop allows you to manage and integrate your data, perform advanced analysis, model and automate operational processes, and display your results on professional-quality maps.

ArcGIS Pro is a professional desktop GIS application from Esri. It is the successor to ArcMap and is designed to be a more powerful and user-friendly GIS platform. ArcGIS Pro offers a wide range of features and functionality for creating and managing maps, scenes, and other geospatial data.

Glean is a cloud-based note-taking application for audio recorded notes. It makes annotating, filtering, and reviewing quicker and simpler.

PDF Annotator lets the user open any PDF file and add annotations, using the mouse or a Tablet PC pen, directly on the PDF file's pages. The annotated documents can then be saved directly back to PDF format.

CES EduPack software allows teachers and students to interact with the extensive property and processing information available in the CES EduPack database, and to apply that information in materials selection and other projects.

MATLAB is a multi-paradigm numerical computing environment and proprietary programming language developed by MathWorks. MATLAB allows matrix manipulations, plotting of functions and data, implementation of algorithms, creation of user interfaces, and interfacing with programs written in other languages.  Using MATLAB you can analyze data, develop algorithms and create models and applications.
