We strongly recommend that Qualtrics users back up ALL of their data before the transition to ensure that no data is lost.

The University is now providing QuestionPro at no additional cost for faculty, staff, and students, and we have planned a series of information sessions with QuestionPro over the next several months. Dates and registration links for the session are below.

The Software Service Center provides technology and solutions for faculty, staff, and students, while adapting to the changing needs of our customers and the growth of information technology.

The Network Software Server is provided as a service of IT Procurement and Licensing Solutions for network-based installation of licensed software. All software contained on this site is licensed for use by Virginia Tech students, faculty, or staff only. All other use is illegal and subject to prosecution.

Software Information for Incoming Undergraduates

The Incoming Undergraduate Software Information page provides a quick reference for incoming undergraduate students on their software requirements, how to obtain their software, and frequently asked questions about software.

Student Resources:

  • The Student Software list is a comprehensive list of available software for use by Virginia Tech students.
  • The Student Software Bundles page has information on the Undergraduate Software Bundle and major-specific bundles.
  • The Student Required Products page contains a listing of the software that you are required to buy as well as software that you've previously purchased and software that you are eligible to purchase.
  • The Network Software Server provides a listing of software purchases by individual student as well as software currently available for download by students.

In order to be processed on FY22 funds, HokieMart orders must be received by the Software Service Center before 5pm on Friday, June 10, 2022.
